Orsolya was born in 1974, in Budapest, Hungary as a daughter of an ophthalmologist, eye-surgeon father and a radiologist mother. She was raised together with her brother, who became a pharmacologist, and her sister, who works in a Children’s Hospital as an assistant. Due to her background it was not a question for her that she also will study and work on the medical field. After graduating as a conductor-teacher in the International Pető András Institute of Conductive Education for the Motor Disabled and Conductor-Teacher Training College, Budapest, Hungary in 1996, she has been working with disabled children all around the world. She has spent 6-8 months a year in different countries, such as Ireland, the USA, Australia, Vietnam, Denmark, Germany, and Sweden.
While working with CE (Conductive Education) in Denmark in 2002, she simply fell in love with CranioSacral therapy when she has discovered the wonderful effect the modality had for one of her favorite patients’ health and well being. Eventually, she decided that she also wanted to learn that method.
In 2003 she traveled to Singapore to participate in CSTI from the Upledger Institute. She completed CSTII in Australia in 2004, then SERI (SomatoEmotional Release) in Singapore in 2005. She has become and worked as a TA (teacher assistant) in Hong Kong. In 2007 she completed SER II in Madrid, ADVI in New Jersey, USA, and ADVII in Ireland. Additionally, Orsolya participated in a Neuro-Developmental Delay Therapy Course in Co. Donegal, Ireland in 2003, and she also completed a course of sign language for hearing-impaired people.
In 2010 she became the director of the Upledger Institute Hungary. She has been a certified instructor of CranioSacral Therapy 1 and 2. She teaches seminars not only in Hungary, but in Turkey, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Latvia, and Hong Kong.
In 2011 she attended the Bio-Aquatic Dolphin Assisted CranioSacral Therapy program in the Bahamas. She has been organizing trips for students and patients to the Bahamas since, where she participates as a lead-therapist in the Dolphin-Assisted Intensive Programs as well as she works as a translator for the Hungarian group. She also has been a visiting therapist at the Upledger Institute’s Intensive Programs in Florida, such as the Ricky Williams Concussion Program in 2015.
She has become interested and trained in Visceral Manipulation at the Barral Institute, and soon became the director of the Hungarian Barral Branch.
In 2011 she completed her Naturopath Certification Program at ETI, Hungary and earned a degree in Alternative Movement and Massage Therapy.
Her original degrees, besides Conductive Education, are in Marketing and Promotion Management and Communication at Vitéz János College in Esztergom, Hungary where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Currently she is participating in a 2-year master degree (M.Sc) program in Human Kinesiology at Semmelweis University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science.
Since 2006 she has been working as a certified CranioSacral therapist in her home in Biatorbágy, Hungary. In 2010 she has opened her second private clinic in Budapest, where she leads a group of excellent, well trained CranioSacral therapists. Her patients like her not only for her expertise, professional calling and outmost thoroughness, but for her kindness, above-average activity and enthusiasm.
